It was 12.08 on Thursday, June 22nd and I had just got off the phone from interviewing a case study for a piece I am writing. As I munched on an early lunch at my living room table, I did a quick scan of some of the UK’s main news sites as part of my job of staying in-the-know about what is going on in the world. I passed through The Guardian, The Independent, Metro and Evening Standard, and on to The Times, Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph and The Sun. Various target audiences and different perspectives, because this journalist wasn’t falling into any echo chambers. But then my heart sank.
