I’ve found myself this week slipping back into the bad habit of waking up at 5am. It happens sometimes (read: too often) when my AM to-do list feels insurmountable and I try to conjure up more time, early on in the day, by setting my Lumie Bodyclock (just obsessed, not #spon) to compete with the birds singing outside my window (an unexpected Lisbon perk I never knew I needed). I know you’ll probably be horrified that I even consider getting up at the crack of dawn a ‘bad habit’—when surely it screams early-bird-catches-the-worm—but I’ve come to believe that it points to something else entirely.
