I’ve been very lucky over the years to jet off—for ‘work’—to some incredible places around the world. I’ve checked into the A-list-frequented SHA Wellness Clinic in southern Spain, where I munched on a diet of solely grains, legumes, vegetables, fruits, seeds, nuts and seaweed (better than it sounds), ridden horseback amongst the thousand-year-old caves of Turkey’s Cappadocia and toured the Niagara Falls by helicopter on a day trip from Toronto. However, one of my favourite ever press trips was actually, believe it or not, to the UK. I went to review a Pilates retreat for a magazine at a grand, old rural hotel, called Lucknam Park, in the Cotswolds—and it was a three-day stay that has remained etched on my mind.
