Sales of alarm clocks jumped by 23% in 2024, according to a report by John Lewis, as people got into the good habit of moving mobile phones outside the bedroom in the PM. The Oura ring was also a best-seller at the department store, accounting for one in every two rings sold—even across its jewellery department (!)—and so were dehumidifiers and water filter jugs as we attempted to ‘detox’ our homes.
